The Camp Wittman Outdoor Center (CWOC) is a rustic camp located in North Central Idaho, Nez Perce County, between Lewiston and Winchester. The CWOC is available to rent for educational and recreational use from May thru October. Availability at other times will also be considered on a case by case basis, and only upon request. 

Our Mission

CWOC’s mission is to provide a rustic retreat, a place where students of all ages can come to learn about natural resource stewardship while embedded in a beautiful working farm and ranch location. CWOC is where educators and resource professionals can supplement their classroom curriculum with hands-on outdoor activities, and where business teams and other private parties can come to recreate and build teamwork.

Our Vision

CWOC’s vision continues to evolve. Established as an outdoors educational facility, CWOC continues to build, focused on becoming a preferred retreat destination within the Lewis-Clark Valley and surrounding region; a place where people can gather, recreate, and learn in nature. Users will leave our facility with a greater understanding of sustainable approaches to natural resource management, and a holistic appreciation of them through outdoor experiences in a rustic setting – whether that experience is in the shape of an outdoor classroom, interactive workshop, a team-building challenge, recreational activities, or bespoke private events.
