CWOC is a rustic, off grid facility. Many creature-comfort amenities have been added since the 1980s, and our current infrastructure is designed to support a wide variety of user groups large and small.
The CWOC Facilities Map shows the current layout of our facility and its onsite amenities. The links below offer additional detail, and photos, of each structure identified on the Facilities map:

Bunkhouses

CWOC is solar powered (limited areas). A solar-powered electrical system (see slides below) has been installed; it currently services the lodge, the kitchen, and the fire pit gazebo. Electric lighting is only installed in a few areas, such as the lodge and the kitchen.
CWOC’s water system includes on-demand hot water heaters (propane-powered). These water systems support more comfortable showering, and more modern setups (and sanitation) for cooks using our kitchen/dining area. Propane grills are also available onsite, intended for cooking.
CWOC is a remote location; we do NOT have cell service. A cell tower booster on the lodge, however, enables emergency communication off-site if needed (see slides below).
There is parking space for cars and RVs, but CWOC does NOT have any RV hook-ups. CWOC’s camping area also offers ample space for people to pitch their own tent(s) – this is usually helpful for larger groups (30+ people) who have multi-day reservations.
